Michael is a community pharmacist practicing in the Midlands and South Yorkshire with more than 20 years’ experience advising on medicines and medical conditions. He has a strong background in healthcare training, having produced and delivered training courses for pharmacy teams and staff of residential care settings, including nurses. He has also contributed to pharmacy advisory boards for the management of low acuity conditions in the community.

Michael spent 6 years as an information pharmacist at head-office for a large-multiple pharmacy chain. He provided guidance and advice to pharmacists on clinical, professional and regulatory issues, developing policies and procedures and supporting delivery of clinical services.

During the Covid-19 pandemic Michael participated in a pharmacy-based vaccination clinic, delivering over 4000 Covid vaccinations to the local population during the initial roll-out. He also returned to community practice where he is currently preparing for the NHS Pharmacy First service.
