I am off to see consultant tomorrow for post op 6 week check.
I have had a few problems with this hip being done knee, ankle etc. Totally opposite to the right one I had done.
Having physio but she won't let me go without 2 crutches just yet because if problems.
Hopefully consultant can advise.
Good luck to everyone having hip replacement and good progress to everyone that has had it.

How are you doing this morning? is there someone who can come with you in the treatment room? I, for one, am easily intimidated, especially when doctor seems to be rushed and it was really great to have my friend with me who asked questions and also listened to the answers ...
good luck and let us know how it went ....
big hug

Have to have ultrasound on knee and ankle to make sure not dvt. Just waiting for phone call to get it done.
Depending on what the outcome is that will determine if I need to see consultant again before my next appointment which is at 3 months time.
Hip healing well.

Had scan relieved I do not have DVT. The op flared up my arthritis in that leg. So have been told to rest it more. Have to see consultant again in 3 month's.
Popped to Drs yesterday for them to do letter fir dwp as not able to look for work etc. On ESA at present just waiting for dreaded medical assessment letter to drop through letter box to go to medical for them to say I am fjt for work when gp etc says no.
Will keep you updated on my progress. Really stiff today.
Hope you are all well.
