8.5 cm big complex Ovarian cyst in right ovary, age - 21 , CA 125 level 85, do i have ovarian cancer

I am 21 years old female, my periods are normal and never felt as such any pain in my pelvic area, i feel bloated though.

My ultrasound for kidney stone revealed a 8.5 cm big cyst in my right ovary and CA 125 test came out to be 85 , normal level is 35

I am a virgin and experienced no back pain , also i am very slim , no obesity.

Am i suffering from ovarial cancer ?

    Hi Pari, you must be very worried, but try not to assume the worst. I had a similar sized cyst and a CA125 of 120 on my right ovary and it turned out not to be cancerous. Same symptoms of bloating. The good thing is that you know it's there and should be treated pretty quickly. Do you know what happens next?

    I think there are quite a few factors that can raise CA-125 levels.

    Ovarian cancer is not common for women as young as you so please don't worry.

    Did you schedule for another doctor's appointment?

    Hi

    i was told the ca125 test doesn't prove anything and only measured ur response to chemo treatment. I think the test can become elevated during ur month cycle

    what are they planning to do? Xx
