I am due to have the above on 1st November. I have been told to drink water only for the next two weeks, has anyone been told this before. Apparently they want healthy kidneys???

I've had one, i had to drink just water 24 hrs prior and take anti platelet medicine a few days before.

Hi christine,
I have had my fair share of angiograms and not once have they asked me to drink water for 2 weeks. Maybe someone has stumbled accross something new with angiograms and water ? Don't know.... Medical treatment and testing procedures changes all the time,

Hi Christine that is a load of nonsense I have had 3 one of them times the put in a Stent, they are harmless and very easy done you don't feel a thing believe me.
