Ankle movement

Has anyone moved their ankle 3weeks post op after ORIF? it's been 3weeks I haven't. Over my ankle

Yet it's really tight and stiff

    Lisa,

    I was told to only to wiggle my toes until after six weeks post surgery, What does your doctor say?

    I had Trimalleoar ORIF on 8/25/16. My OS had me wiggle toes only until out of cast which was 6 weeks.

    Hi Lisa

    I shattered my Tib/fib Jan 16/17 had ORIF repair, 4 plates, 9 pins, numerous screws... I was told at my Surgeon Appt last Tuesday to start trying to flex my foot up/down a bit. Like you I'm trying but mine is very tight and stiff as well. I am working on it daily though and find I can move it a tiny bit, I was told I'll be non weight bearing for approx 6 months
