I know a lot of people suffer from the dreaded 'Head Pressure'. I've read many stories on this and other sites and there is often no answer to the very similar symptoms of Pressure feeling from behind the bridge of nose or forhead region, headaches and light headidness because of this. Often people say they wake up and it isn't really there but once they start to move around the pressure starts and builds up throughout the day. Some people say by chewwing, swollowing, popping ears helps reduce the pressure.
ANSWER: Ear Grommets. These are small insertions put into the ear drum usually if people have ear problems e.g. infections or ETD. What essentially in a lot of people who post on here, is for some reason to much air is being let into the cavities within the nose / head. By using a grommet to open an airway to the outside may reduce the pressure feeling. EXAMPLE if you pop your ears, your Eustichian Tube opens and air rushes from your nose to your ears, this can help to equalise pressure within the ear as if on a plane.
EVIDENCE 6 weeks ago whilst popping my ears using the Vaslava manouver I made a tiny perforation of my left ear drum, air then rushed out for 20-25 seconds. After this I was symptom free, no pressure, no headache, no dizziness. It was the best feeling ever, I felt normal again and had the best day. Sadly over the next day or so the pressure just built back up again.
So there you have it, there is some hope that we could get a solution. I've spoken to the specialist about putting in a grommet but he is reluctant as he says there's no medical evidence.
If you are reading this and think these symptoms are very similar to yours then please reply. Together we can beat this and go back to living our lives again.

Not tried popping my ears but will do as I'm writing this. As you said you live in uk as well your doctors must be better than mine to have sent you for an MRI mine won't even mention it just says tension headache and end of. It may be but no harm in sending me for a scan as it rules out the thing we fear most brain tumors. But nope not mine to blooming lazy to do that. Just tried ear popping and not helped in fact seems to have aggravated it a bit more but thanks for the tip. Not sure what my problem is and prob won't get to the bottom of it quickly not with my drs.

Ear popping initially felt very strange for me but then it started to sort of relieve it the pressure feeling. What are your exact symptoms?
Mine are:
Pressure from behind the bridge of the nose.
Starts toi build up the more I move.
Builds up when I bend down or bend neck so head pointing down.
Always have a small headache which gets worse with pressure build up.
Always feel in constant discomfort with the pressure feeling.
Chewing gum and popping ears reduces the pressure.
It's there 24/7
