Anxious or epilepsy

Posted , 3 users are following.

I've had epilepsy very well controlled for years but since being on the change, I have had feelings like I'm going to have a fit (which in effect makes me anxious) so even though (touch wood) I don't have one I'm anxious that I might so this is affecting my social life, it's a strange feeling like I can actually see myself having this fit (not a nice feeling)!

Anyone had anything like this before?

Advice welcomed

    Hi lesley

I understand where you are coming from. My boyfriend has epilepsy himself and yes the change in hormones can cause anxieties and seizures

I suffer from anxieties and right now I have a lot of them plus have been moody and not myself at all because the HRTs plus the Neurontin caused me to bleed last week and all i have been feeling is anxieties and crying a lot and moody. I stopped my HRTs but the neurontin they want me on

    Just feel like crying

      Hi susan

yes its a nightmare at the moment but anxiety is the worst thing ever just wish I could get over it but easier said than done, so a lot of tears have flowed and when at work I have to to be strong and only feel content at home, it's not a happy time
