Hi , ive had athletes foot for a wile now 5 months.

I did not realise i had it at first and had cellulitis which was rid of through anti biotic then 2 weeks later had cellulitis again.

The doctor then realised i had athletes foot which was the underlying cause of the infection.

Wash foot 3 times a day sometimes 4 then apply treatment

Ive tried daktarin activ cream first with no improvement.

So then tried caneston 1% this made a massive improvment. And then it run out so purchased an unbranded form of caneston via EBay.

Used all that too, so tried scholl powder.

My athletes foot is mainly on the smallest toe on the web but has had little improvment.

My question: any recommendations pf which treat ment would be best?

Hi Yes buy oregana oil, a good quality kind, mix with one part drop of oil of oregana with five drops or more of olive oil, apply to the area daily. Our sons girlfriend has tried this and it cleared the problem. This stuff can burn a bit if not diluted properly so apply to broken or sore skin.

To add one more good remedy, aloe vera gel, from the plant leaf, slather it on the area genrously and it will kill the fungus, heal the sores and prevent it from recurring. You need to continue to use it to prevent any new infections. Then you need to get at the root of the problem, what is causing it? Anytime your feet get too warm and sweaty the fungus can grow. I found that wearing shoe incerts that are not anti-microbial can cause this. Keep your feet in the open air as much as you can will be hepful. Good luck!
