blood pressure and bronchiectasis

When I take blood pressure tablets they make me cough up blood. Does anybody wit both bronchiectasis and blood pressure have any similar experience. ( I have tried various blood pressure tablets). Thanks, Pat.

    Never coughted up blood but my Dr. took me off one type of blood pressure medicine because it made me cough alot.I am now on Amlodipine, not sure what I was on before.

    Hello Pat. I actually have both High BP plus Bronchiectasis and Atelectasis but I have never experienced blood when I cough. I suppose we all have different constitutions. Sorry I was not able to help. Regards
