Bumps on back of tongue an white coating

I really hope someone can explain what is going on as this is driving me nuts!  I seem to have developed round raised bumps at the back of my tongue which touch my "punch bag" or uvula and my tongue is coated in white - what is causing this and how is is treated please?  Any answers will be much appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

    Hi susie it sounds as if you have a touch of oral thrush. If you can't get an appointment with your GP I am sure a pharmacist could help you
