It maybe acid reflux but I really think you need to see a doctor and get some tests done as your symptoms are a little non specific for reflux.

    debi,

like debbie says, get to a clinic and get diagnosed with a treatment. We know the symptoms of when acid reaches the mouth..but the cause can vary...certainly if you over compress your stomach with just a small amount of digested and undigestives in your stomach, it can breach your LES and UES...like a vomit but without the muscle contractions.

I think you know some of the basics you can or should be doing pre dr visit...very small meals without oils, spices, dairy, chocolate, sugar, etc...keep your head elevated night time, sleep on your left side (this can vary) sip water at a 8.2ph, your oral cavity under normal conditions around 6.5ph...if you have any pepsin within your throat area, 8.2 should disable or destroy it..sip sip. if you can obtain an oral probiotic (salivarius) you might obtain some benefit...takes time. Without any medical history nor basic physical and mental state/s too difficult to provide much more advice. I am leaning towards you have too much acid..and my hunch ( a guess mind you) your have some anxiety that increases seurm gastrin, thus acid production, BUT your phenotype it may be the complete opposit..lack of gastric acid...only a good medical professional can hlep id....and provide proper treatment...Here in the US, I would call my primary care dr and ask for an ENT referral...if I were to get flubbed off...direct to an ER.

Non -cardiac chest pain is usually associated with Gerd . I remember going to ER thinking i was having a heart attack. Luckily, a doctor with a highly trained clinical eye said it was Gerd. He prescribed Omeprazole and i took 1 tab that moment but had ECG just to make sure. Red flag for chest pains include, numbness of limbs, dizxiness or nausea , difficulty in breathing etc. it would be wise to seek your Gp's advice. You willl be ok😁

The whole day 2 days ago. It is even reaching to my bavk . Short stabbing pain but constant ferls like trapped air snd i wanted to release it through belching or burping. So when that most anticipated burp comes around i try to exagerate to expel it just yo release whatever tightness it might be causing. That's the only time i would be relieved after i burp bug after burping it will be back and the cycle goes on. Had all the bloodworks possible to rule out any issues i have all came back negative. Don't know what to do anymore😒

Have you had any tests done such as an upper endoscopy or is your GP diagnosing GORD based on your symptoms alone. You are obviously worried despite what your GP is saying so it may be a good idea if you ask for a referral to a specialist gastroenterologist so that you get all the necessary tests done and hopefully a full diagnosis which will hopefully lead to proper treatment. Your stomach.oesophagus may be inflamed and the Omeprazole will take time to work - you also need to make sure that you are on the correct dose - I'm taking 80mg a day as well as 300mg of Ranitidine which is a high dose - this dose was established when I was admitted to hospital at the beginning of May with severe acid and abdominal pains - even then it took over 3 days before I actually felt a reduction in the acid and I'm only just beginning to feel a slight improvement in my pain levels. A gastroenterologis is the way to go and I'm sure you'll be fine given time.

      Best Wishes
