CoCodamol and Ibuprofen

Hi guys. Just need some information please. I rung nhs 111 earlier today as needed advice on pain I was getting. I had taken 2 CoCodamol and they advised me to take 2 ibuprofen even though it was within the same hour. The pain is back and I just want to know if it's safe to take another 2 CoCodamol?

    Hello nikki. You should leave at least 4 hours between each dose of Cocodamol. It's ok to take ibuprofen as well though.

      Hi matron. It was about 5 I took the CoCodamol and then about half 5 I took ibuprofen. So I'm ok to take 2 more CoCodamol?

      Sorry nikki I've just read your post. Yes 4 hourly but because of the paracetamol in the Cocodamol no more than 8 in 24 hours.

    Hi Nikki, all I can say is just be carefull with CC they can be very addictive in the long term.
