    Hi linda

i think it depends how you got a frozen shoulder. I had one many years ago from an accident which fractured my rotator cuff. Unfortunately the injections did not work. I now have another frozen shoulder from a ski injury, broke the top of my arm. It will be 6  months by the time I actually get to see the trauma specialist and will refuse the injections.

i am not sure but suspect if you developed the frozen shoulder rather than it be the result of an injury, you may be lucky and find it will help you.

good luck and have a good holiday

    Hi,

Steroid Injecitons usually work within a few days if they are going to work for you. However they do not always work, but if they do they  generally last for 3months. They are more short termfix.  They may however help you so you can enjoy your holiday.

Hi, I have a FS as a result of a fall 12 months ago and had 2 injections but neither worked and now my other shoulder is freezing caused from over use because I could not use my other arm. I recently had an injection in this shoulder and again it did not work. Sorry sad

Hi Linda. I have read many reports on this forum when I discovered I had FS 8 month's ago. My surgeon recommended that I let nature take its course which could take up to a year to heal. He did not recommend surgery unless I really wanted to pursue this avenue. I decided to do controlled exercise which included rowing using gym equipment. 8 month's later and I can feel my shoulder is healing and I have regained a significant amount of movement. Maybe I am very lucky. Readers may find this information helpful. Regards

I have to say i have just been diagnosed with fs had two injections and it did nothing now waiting for mri scan have developed this horrendous condition without injury or reason. Been like this since last december on strong painkillers but nothing touches the horrible pain you get when you catch it. Each week my movement is more limited.

Hope to have surgery because two years with this comdition is not acceptable to me .....hope you and everyone else with this condition feel better very soon x
