6 weeks ago I was in work just in office when suddenly I had double vision this lasted a couple of minutes I went to gp and they referred me to an eye specialist. They could'nt find anything wrong with my eyes and said my eyes werent the problem. Anyway yesterday the same thing happened again double vision but only for about 30 seconds.Went back to gp and they are now referring me to neurologist. I am worried sick has anyone else had this happen to them? I know this sounds stupid but I was hoping it was because I need glasses and that was the problem. A friend said it could be a migraine but I didnt get a headache with them and they didnt last long the last one I did feel a bit dizzy with it. Any help or information would be great.I just keep waiting for it to happen again and its stressing me out. I am a 60 year old female

Maggie, I am a 60 year old female as well. I had the same thing happen yesterday. No headache or warning signs. It lasted about 1 minute. I had it happen about 16 years ago a couple different times but not exactly the same either time. I think a neurologist is who to see but I havenèt done anything yet. Thought about a mini stroke but no numbness or paralysis at all. It is a mystery at this point. Hope you get answers soon. I also have a twin with the same thing that has happened to her. Our first experience with this was a few weeks after heart surgery about 16 years ago but the heart doc said it wasnèt related to the surgery.

I had surgery on both eyes (for shortsitedness and cataract on the other). After my surgery was done and sat on the driver's seat, I noticed seeing 2 wives on my right. I told my doctor about it and he said it will eventually syncronize by themselves. 5 years have no passed and the double vision has become worst. I will be seeing next week my primary care doctor to seek referal so that, if surgery is performed again, it will be covered with my medicare.
