First time on fluoxetine

Hi all I've been on flu for 11 days now, get bad headaches and clenching of jaw I'm also more anxious how long does it take to feel a little better I know it does take time, any advice would be helpful

    sorry to say but it's a long process, 8-12 weeks on average from what I can gather, and during that time it's quite possible to go from one happy extreme to one low extreme within 24 hours. however that does not happen to everybody so do try to think positive, yeah easier said than done I know, but there is light at the end of the tunnel, honestly. cheesygrin

      Thanks David how long have you been on flu? I'm going to stick with it even though I do feel awful at the moment 😏

      Hi Anne how's week 10 going for you are you starting to feel better ? On day 12 today felt awful all day but picked up abit now

      Hi there,  ooooh it just takes SO long for the awful side effects to start settling, eg erratic sleep patterns, morning jitters and afternoon lethargy, dry mouth, etc.  One good thing for me tho is lack of migraines - hooray!! I guess for me it's only just beginning to come together and I'm halfway through week 10. It helps to keep a note/diary of how things are going - both for you to use to keep track, and to show your dr later.  Good luck!
