how long do you have to be out of work for this surgery?

    Depends on which surgery you are intending to have. i had embollisation and needed to be off work for nearly 3 weeks, although some people seem to recover more quickly. I have to say I did not feel myself again for closer to  6 weeks. Hope this helps.

    I had an open myomectomy, which has a 6 -12 week recovery period depending on your general state of health, but you may be able to work from home after a few weeks if you have the kind of job where that's possible. If you have in any way a physical job you'd need to take the full recovery period.

    I had a myomectomy and missed a week of work. But I work at a job where I sit 99% of the time.
