Hey.. I have recently diagnosed with internal hemorroids. Its been causing a lot of problems am really not able to focus on my daily activities like before. Please someone suggest or post links to excercise, aerobics, sitting posture in order to keep hemorroids in check. Thanks in advance. By the way am just 28, am really scared whether any girl will ever come forward to marry me. Am totally disappointed with my life.

If you don't let your ailments get in the way, then your love won't either!
I have diverticular disease coupled with chronic ibs... I also have haemorrhoids...that make a painful and bloody appearance when the diarrhoea symptoms of my ibs flare up.
The best way I find to manage it is to strictly control what I'm eating.
Now ibs symptoms are massively alleviated by eating low FODMAP foods..
But they tend to be very low in fibre.
I don't suffer the haemorrhoids and diverticulitis when my ibs is in check... So, despite sounding counter-productive, eating a low FODMAP/low fibre diet and taking a senna tablet every evening massively reduces the pain I suffer with haemorrhoids and diverticular disease.
There'll be plenty more people on here offering you helpful suggestions as well. Try what you think makes sense.
Good health to you, Sandeep! Xxx

2. Avoid any foods that have a high acid content like orange juice or tomato juice/sause. Avoid nuts (big no no).
3. Every single time you have a loose bowl movement, clean the area with a water spray, then insert your small finger in petrolium jelly, and insert it into your anus. This will protect the hemmroids from continued burning and swelling.
4. Eat things like Oat meal and rice. I'm not sure but I think they reduce the acid in the intestines if your body is releasing too much for whatever reason. Last resort, take a teaspoon of baking soda with each meal. Make sure you stop using salt with meals and reduce sodium so you don't get too much.
5. last resort, If you can't get the hemmroids into remission, check with a specialist/ surgeon to see if they need to be operated on.
6. Most times I think you can get them under control without any operations. They really swell and hrut when you are doing all the wrong things. I never thought I would be able to improve my situation but the swelling can be controlled and go down. Very important to keep area clean and eat the right things/ avoid acid foods. Goggle online to learn more. I am no expert. Just saying what worked for me. I had the runs 5 to 7 times for two years.

I agree with James.. Very important to keep the area clean. Weird as this may sound go to the kitchenware section of any store and find a ketchup/mustard squirt bottle type dispenser. use this to spray your back side with semi warm/cool water when you have a bm. the rubbing from toilet tissue is eliminated. then just pat dry, not rub using a facecloth. I had internal bleeding for almost a month when I was first diagnosed with Diverticulitis and thought the worst. My doctor gave me some good advice and now I follow it each time. Also (another weird thing) baby butt cream works wonderfully to stop the irritation, pain and discomfort.
