Hello. I have posted a few times on here before about my headaches that have been going on for 8 months now. I have had MRIs, CT scans, occipital nerve blocks, cervical epidural injection, been to PT, chiropractor, neurologist, tried different medications, had eye exam, and many more... No relief. My head pain seems to start in my neck and travel all over my head, behind my ears and eyes, primarily staying on the right side of my head, but also travels to my left side occasionally. I wake up with these headaches and they go pretty consistently all day. I go to sleep OK and sleep fine, and wake up with them all over again. I am now going to a back doctor/pain management specialist who seems to really want to help me. Today, he performed a facet injection in my lower neck. He told me that he could see a "bone spur" on my Xray. He told me not to get too excited that this is the cause of my headaches, but could definitely be contributing. He said that my facet injection could take 10 days to work and that the bone spur might be irritating my nerves, causing problems. Has anyone had a bone spur causing these types of headahces? If so, have you found anything that gives you some relief? Has anyone ever had a facet injection to relieve your headaches. Please let me know and give me any ideas to relieve my headaches! I have anxiety which is definietly making my headaches worse, but I know that my head pain is not soley from anxiety. No doctor seems to be able to pin things down with exactly what is wrong, and I am desperate to get better! Someone please let me know and give me some suggestions!

    Oh my goodness you sound so similar to me. I have been suffering every single day since end of April. Had a catscan, MRI, tried chiropractor, tried physical therapy for almost 6 months. Neurologist, ENT, headache specialist, orthopedic, allergy Dr.. Several trips to the ER. It's unbearable. I am 29 with two small children and most days I can't do too much with them as I get light headed and feel off balance. The pain started behind my head and moved to the front for the majority of the time now. I mostly feel it by my eyes. No relief thus far. Like you I sleep fine and wake up and it starts all over. Please let me know how this injection goes for you. Best of luck

      The injection did not work... Headaches are unbearable and I'm not sure what to do. Do yours feel like they shoot from the neck? Mine are piercing and dull. I have tried multiple medications- topamax, lyrica, amitriptyline, and verapamil. None have worked for me. Have you had any luck with anything?
