Hi Kelly, I am waiting to have a ct colonoscopy scan in the next week or so to confirm if I have diverticulitis but I do have backache a lot and at the moment I have coccyx pain but I'm not sure if this is a symptom or just another pain to cope with!!

I'm not looking forward to yet another colospany I don't who these people are that say they don't hurt but even with sedation you can still feel it

Why can't we be put out for it like they do with the celebrity people

I'm having the virtual colonoscopy, not the camera up the bum one!! My partner had one if those and he said it was fine! He also had an endoscopy which he said wasn't awful, think he was just being macho!!

Kelly i have a back problem disc bulge touching nerve so when i fell poorly 4 weeks ago i thought it was my back but infact i was admitted to hosp with acute diverticilitis. My hip/back were all affected my back felt weak and as thou it was going to give way, it was the inflammation causing it. X

Yes, I had a dull but constant backache with some flare ups. Then constipation while on the fibreless diet which did not help.

Yes, I had back pain, almost like labor pains! They put us out for colonoscopy here in US too. Can't imagine staying awake?! Socialized medicine I am assuming.

We have socialised medicine here in France and our health care is ranked far higher than that of America.

    Hi Kelly

I get most of my pain on my right side and around to my back.  Couple times I thought it was my appendix but a trip to the doctor resulted in being told that a small amount of people with DIVI do have their pain on the right not the left.
