Vitreious detachment, and superior temporal flame hemorrhage, and cloud floater.

I had a  Vitreious detachment about 5 months ago. The Retinal specialists did about 10 minutes of laser treatment to seal around the minor tear. Initially, and for several weeks, i had many flashes on the right side of my right eye. And, i had floaters the size of fly (looked like i was seeing a stationary fly). The flashes have pretty much gone away, as have the fly floaters. However, i have this (what i call) cloud or jellyfish shaped semi-clear floater. When i move my eye to the right, the cloud moves to the left. When i move my eye to the left, the cloud moves to the right. It constantly gets in the way of my vision. Has anyone experienced anything like this cloud?

    How old are you? Did you have tare? I have two vitreous detacments,both eyes. Late fifties normal part of ageing im told,however do have to watch for possible detached retina in early months. With my left eye when final detachment happened had a small hemorage which produced many floaters. In a few weeks time they were gone. However did get a large dark floater that still remains. Also get the cloudy vision affect that changes as fluid in eye moves. I believe that is normal. Right now am having additional symptoms as my right eye is still in process. Was told to check side vision and watch for lots of floaters at one time and a curtain affect which could signal detached retina.

      I have also been told to watch for the curtain affect. I know that my vision in my right eye is not totally clear (mainly due to the cloud / jellyfish floater), but beyond that, i do not think that i see a curtain affect. The flashes are 99% gone, which is reassuring. I just wish the damn cloud would go away. I go to the Retina specialist every 4 weeks to check for improvement. Her main concern is the blood that she still sees in the back of my eye. I have yet to figure out if the "cloud" that i see, is the same as the blood that she sees. She wants to keep seeing me until the blood is gone, or mostly gone. I can drive, and work, and all. It's just that dang cloud, that moves around. Sometimes, i think i can see the cloud "still" and it looks like a collection of small floaters all combined within the cloud. This is all new to me, so it can be difficult to describe what i see. Thanks for your replies.

      When the vitreous detachs it leaves some debri behind,plus the fluid in the eye changes in density. I really dont think the cloudy vision is unusual. My doctor said my vitrious might not ever totally detach,so i will probably always have some degree of symptoms. The blood from a hemorage should eventually be absorbed.

    Nevermind i see you had a tare ,trying to watch tv and do this at same time.

    Yes. I think its common with vitreous detachment.
