Nonverbal Learning Disorder

I was diagnosed with this in my fifties, and am having a hard time finding therapists who really know anything about this. I'd like to hear from others who have been diagnosed with NLD.

      I'm afraid that I don't know what treatments are available in the USA, but I do know that there is good evidence that cognitive behaviour therapy works well - it teaches you to recognise situations and develop better coping strategies - so I would probably start with this.

      Thanks. It seems most therapists have heard of it, but that's it. I'll investigate CBT. I appreciate it.
