Hi all, does anyone find it difficult to eat hot food (temperature).  I had Achalasia diagnosed and an HM in 2012

    Temperature, texture and spiciness of food are all likely to affect the way you can eat and swallow, either because they tend to block up the lower oesophageal sphincter or because they irrititate or cause a reaction in the nerve endings for the muscles in the oesophagus that affect the swallowing mechanism.
