New syptoms, just been to Dr, in lots of pain ... help?

Hi All,

I just went to the DR as I'm in so much pain.

Everything I eat gives me cramps and even when I'm not eating I have cramps.

I have no idea why it's happened, I was doing so well.

I was off Losec, eating well, no acid, IBS was still bad but just in the morning, now for the past 3 days I've had cramps upon cramps upon cramps 24/7.

Anyone else had this?

The Dr said it sounds like Gastritis and gave me Losec - which isn't working, plus Gaviscon which also isn't working, I"m really scared it's something else.

Has anyone had IBS this bad???

    It's located directly between my ribs in the middle and then generalised all over my abdomen. It feels like period cramps - ( if you're a woman sorry!)

    I dont think it is IBS. it sounds like oesophagus problem. Try charcoal to see if it reduce then it is gas, if not may be you should go for endoscopy.
