Can anyone help me understand. 4 months ago I was beat upside my head, 10 to 15 blows I would say. Anyway was told I have post concussion syndrome. Every body keeps telling me that it should be gone by now (including doctor) but it hasn't. This is really beginning to worry me. My head is always hazy and foggy and my sence of balance way off. When I get up to walk my head spins and I can't walk a straight line to Dave my life. The more I walk and try to do any thing it gets worse. I am at witty end with this. Can't explain to anyone what it is that I am feeling and make them understand. Please reply if you understand this. I feel like I am losing my mind. HELP!!!!!

Lynn,  so sorry you have suffered at the hands of another supposed human.  Were you assessed by a concussion specialists?  Did they do scans on you at the time of the injuries?  Being hit that many times can cause horrendous damage (as I am sure you are well aware...). Since your symptoms are not gone, it is time to see a specialist.  Concussions are neither simple and they don't always follow the protocol the doc has set.  Get more advice with a more knowledgeable doc.  Good luck.😎

Thank you very much for the reply. I have had CT,MRI,and an EEG. Things look great on paper.Am under the care of a Neurologist at this time. Feel like I am on the edge. Since there are no physical signs other then me not being able to walk straight or stand perfectly still for a few minuets before I sway forward or backward the looks of disbelief from others including the Dr.are hard to take. The embarrassment you feel tring to walk around the grocery store looking like you have just come out of the happy hourbar nextdoor yet holding onto the shopping cart for dear life....lol they can't understand. I don't think anybody that has not experenced this can fully understand. I know I didnt. This is an out of body experence to say the least. My headaches have increased and more frequent , concentration and comprehension are shot to hell and back, and the static gets even louder on some days. It was so nice to find this forum where someone can understand that this is really happening to you and what somewhat of what your going through is understood. Thought I was all alone. Thank you

I agree with KMRC, get a second opinion.

Your dizziness sounds very similar to my headaches. I had a brain operation, a common after effect is hydrocephalus, which I have. It's a build up of fluid pressure around my brain, I can't walk straight, or think clearly, basically because the cerebrospinal fluid is squashing my brain. I'm lucky that it isn't continuous, and is less than about a quarter of the time.

I hope you find both answers and a solution, good luck.
