Professional violinist, tingling and shooting pains in my arms

Hi, I'm Alex and I am a professional concert violinist. 4 months ago I had pins and needles in my arms and they felt numb. I am very active person, I do a lot of sports and also practice 4 hours a day and play concerts. I went to GP immediately and she said, of course: take painkillers. Then the numbness went after a couple of weeks, and it's just became like a shooting pain in my forearms. My life became unbearable, I saw 3 doctors and all they say-take painkillers? Seriously? Please, study better, you can do more than this! I had to decline jobs from London orchestras as I can not play to 100%. Only after 2 month somebody suggested to do an MRI scan of my neck because they think and guess it might be my neck? But my arms hurt and I don't know if its muscle, ligament, nerve, tendon pain. Of course I don't take painkillers as they are bad for your liver, thanks google! And I would aggrovate my arms even more if I play without feeling the pain. It takes so long and my life and career is put on hold. I can't drive or pick up heavy things, or even do the washin up and clean the house. I want to work and play violin again and earn money for living! I'm so devastated. Why nobody takes it seriously NHS? They have to look at the root of the problem and solve it, at least it should not take 4 month of hell to tell me a diagnosis. No wonder people search on google what's wrong with them, by describing all the symptoms. I'm afraid that if its undiagnosed and untreated it can be the end of my career and it's all I can do my best. I don't want to lose everything because of medical mistake. Nobody knows if its something to do with my nerves or other things.
