Bisoprolol - constant nausea

Posted , 4 users are following.

I was taking Bisoprolol and Candesarten for about 18 months, until I went away for 5 days and forgot to pack the Bisoprolol.

Within 3 days I stopped feeling nauseous, which had been a daily occurrence for about 12 months.

I hadn't associated the nausea with my meds because the side effects didn't kick in immediately, my cardio consultants didn't join the dots either.

Coming off Candesarten at the moment too, hopefully all the other horrible symptoms will go too, then I might have a life again!

It takes time for your body to adjust to the lower dosage. I cut my 1.25 in lalf for 2 weeks and then I took the lalf every second day for a week and then that was it. Anyway eaven that I have weaned off nice and slow it has been 3 months now and I still get some days rebound from the Bisoprolol. Doctor told me it take up,to 6 months to get it out of your system. He told me to drink lots of water to wash out the chemicals from my liver, kidney and other organs.

Bisoprolol nasty pill. You guys need to get off or you will feel like s**t   Talk to your doctor. Specially you Jacqueline 2 years is a long time and it will take you some times to wean off. Be careful when you decide to get of the  Bisoprolol. I went cold turkey and 4 days later I was taken to the hospital by ambulance. I was not Abel to walk, heart rate was in 150 and blood presure 180/110. Almost had a heart attack. Dr newer told me to wean off. So ai went back on for a week and then I started to wean off nice a slowly over a one month. It has been 3 months now and I will great, but some days I get rebound for a day
