Pain in left testicle and leg

Had pain since beginning of December in left testicle and left leg. First instance it lasted about 4 days and went after taking some ibrofuen. Then it came back 2 weeks later and hasn't went since. Been doc's good few times first he gave me anitbiotecs and said it was epididymitis but got all clear on sti next time he gave me different antibiotics and naproxen. The pain eased and never really went so the next time got sent for a ultrasound and they found a cyst on each testicle and a varicocle said nothing to worry about gave me more pain killers but I'm still in pain. The ache in my leg can be unbearable and the pain in trsticle just comes and goes every couple of hours can't cope anymore. Waking up every morning dizzy as well now

Insist on having the Varicocele embolised. Tell your doctor it is causing you a lot of pain and discomfort. I had mine done in February and the pain subsided the same day. My doctor tried to fob me off as well but I told him of the recent connection to prostate cancer and he went away and did some reading up, phoned me an hour later and apologised!!

Thanks everyone for the replies. It's really frustrating me, going to see the doctor today and demand something gets done. I live in liverpool don't have a clue of any good chiropractor.

I don't think you need a Chiropractor, you need a Consultant Radiologist! I don't know what age group you are but, a Varicocele will lower your Testosterone levels and can make you infertile. So if you are of an age where you want children now or in the near future you owe it to yourself to be assertive with your GP! Mine tried to tell me he didn't think the NHS would pay for the procedure and it would cost me Β£1400 until I insisted he check it out for me. As I said before, once he had done some research he apologised. If your GP is obstructive tell him you want a second opinion.

I got it wrong the doc said Iv got a few varicose veins but not a collection to make a variocele. He said I could have a chronic in fection and gave me more antibiotics. So do I try a chiropractor?

You need to be very careful taking allot of antibiotics. They will kill the bad bacteria but also the good bacteria in your body. You need to take a good probiotic when taking antibiotics.

Please read about it.Hope you get well.

I have also had pain in testicles and in my right inner thigh as well as the area where an inguinal hernia would be, though I cannot feel any hernia in truth. A few days ago the outer right side of my foot went numb and has just went away. Anyone know what this could be? I'm hoping something like groin pull it nerve trouble rather than anything more sinister of course. I have an appointment with Urologist in a weeks time.

Once again, as with pcambo86, the pain and the numbness is very likely to be referred from you back.

I think you may have something there as a few months ago I did visit a chiropractor as I had a trapped nerve at the right side of my neck / shoulder. This has disappeared now but that train of thought is an interesting one. I will mention this to the specialist next week. Thanks for your thoughts

Still getting nowhere with this. Also to make matters worse now I'm going through periods of dizziness and feeling sick. Wake up most mornings feeling like Iv had a hangover. I'm not taking any medication as thought that might of been the cause. Any ideas before I go and pay for a private consultation

Dizziness and nausea are not normally associated with the pains you have described... Β and tus are likely to be from another cause and you should discuss this with your GP.

Have you seen a chiropractor for the pains?

Had 3 sessions but the first and second were 2 weeks apart cause full of flu. Pain seems to have eased but still there, not grabbing at the codeine either. But this dizziness etc is getting annoying now.
