Chronic urticaria and severe stomach cramps

Hi....I get the same as this, it's totally frustrating.....I take 360mg fexonfenidine every day with 25mg hydroxide and 50 mg of raniditine daily, it seems to work , the there's a huge flare up of really sore hives.......it always happens in stressful conditions and I do know that after process of elimination.....obviously this doesn't help, however I have learned some breathing techniques to relax, to be fair, I never thought I was stressed but I was and am! But this deep breathing seems to help daily, 20 minutes a day...... It's the foundation of meditation......May be bullsh*t but it seems to be working

Ooooh you poor thing. It sounds awful. I recognise the lump in your diaphragm coz I get what I call the feeling of a lump at the top of my stomach - doc says internal allergic reaction. You may have to take other antihistamines as well as the fexofanadine - I take it one a day along with 3 other antihistamines throughout the day. Doc may suggest short sharp course (5 days) of oral Prednisolone steriod  to nip it in the bud. Which works for me but the hives return in a lesser reaction.

Immunology might help you.

Just one thought--Allegra can occasionally cause heartburn, especially in older women (not sure your age).  Also, indigestion is listed as one of its possible side effects. Some people take it with zantac or another such medicine to diminish the gas problem.  Quercetin can be helpful for stabilizing the mast cells.

Also, I assume you've had your vitamin D level checked?  Sometimes is associated with Chronic urticaria and treating the deficiency (if there is one) can help moderate or eliminate the hives.  Of course, there are autoimmune and other diseases that can produce the hives.  

Best of luck with this problem!  Hang in there.  They often go away eventually, I believe.

hi there i have had chronic urticiara now for nearly 4yr i too have had problems regarding my stomach & heartburn. I have recently tested positive for a stomach bacteria helibactor pylora .

Have u been test H pylori it a stomach bacteria associated with cause of urticaira.

Hi. So sorry to hear you are suffering as well. I had a bout of chronic hives four months ago. The whole deal, angiedema and all. After 4 months, they tested me for Epstein barr and it came back positive. Antihistamines helped some during the day but gave no relief at night, I always woke up covered in hives also. 

Eventually two months after the diagnosis, they stopped just as strangely as they started. About three weeks ago, I woke to find more hives, and they haven't stopped since. It's beyond frustrating thinking about having to go through it again. They tested for mono virus again, but it came back negative. So were at square one. 

I will ask the doctor if they can test me for a Helebactor Pylori stomach infection. I've heard co-infections with that and mono are often a cause of hives. Let me know if anything has helped you. I'm desperate to find answers faster this time, as you know how debilatating it can be.

When I first broke out I also had ALOT of GI problems. They did a stomach scope n biopsy to make sure I didn't have HPylori which is a cause if hives. I was negative, after several tests and specialist I'm D.C. With chronic autoimmune hives.

I have the same symptoms. Did you ever get any answers. Doctors telling me its all just allergies. Hives cramps diarrhea stitches in legs heart burn. I've even done a pregnancy test to rule out puppp

I get hives every three years my entire life like clock work.  Always starting end of August to start of October. Sometimes lasting only a couple weeks up to shortly before Christmas. So far nothing has ever came up. I get sensitive skin where a simple scrape or rubbing clothes will trigger a hive. Which is followed by a hive on the opposite side. Even my own sweat can trigger a reaction. Like you as soon just before I hit the 24hrs to my next batch of meds I can feel them coming back. I also find I will get a cold in this time making the meds only work half as well. Antihistamines alone will do nothing. So it's an onslaught of meds. Also get the lump on my diaphram feeling. Have you ever found any causes?
