I went to see my specialist yesterday for an update on my medication MTX. I had already come off it due to it making me tired all the time. He is going to start me on a drug called Otezla. Has anyone tried this? What was your experience?

    I was on MTX for over 5years, and various self injections. But my rheumatologist took me off everything last December, due to a build up of side effects. I started Otzela 3 weeks ago, but had to stop taking it,due to severe diarhea, and intense back pain. I have to wait now to go back on self injections!! What a nightmare. But even though it didn't suit me, it might be ok for you. Best of luck.

      Thanks Frances. He said some people suffer from diarhea.I am going to start on a low dose and build up. How did you go with the self injections,did they make you tired?

    Hello

    Im on otezla and fine I have no issues as long as I eat 1/2 my meal before taking the pill and then finishrest of my meal.

    i have been off an on otezla for 3 months now! i keep stopping because i cannot cope with the headaches and pressure! i keep trying to go back on and pain keeps returning!

    I started otezla 3 months ago but have bcked off and now stopped! I was getting good results in pain and skin relief but the headaches have been too bad!
