Globus sensation 4 days after drinking? Should I be concerned?

Today is Monday, Friday night I was at a party with some friends and took a shot of ever clear alcohol ( not my smartest move) for everyone who doesnt know what ever clear is its 190 proof grain alcohol (90%) so that night i took it for the first time, felt awful, went home and had an indigestion feeling and the globus sensation, went to bed felt the same the next day and it got bad at night, felt the same sunday so i went and got zantac took that and it got bad again at night, today monday it feels better and less present but still there. I also feel like i have the constant urge to burp. I have had instances of acid reflux, is this just a throat spasm caused by the shock of the ever clear or should I see a doctor maybe?

You have probably cause irritation in your throat with stomach acid caused by such an aggressive drink. See your Dr if it doesn't clear, and watch your diet for a while - and don't drink it again!

Hi, i have had globus for a few months now and also acid reflux. I too would like to know the cause and am always seeking answers as i feel this will ultimately help me.

Over christmas i drank 2 bottles of sambuca over approx two weeks, having maybe 3/4 glasses per night. I did feel like my throat was a little raw.

The globus happened maybe a week later so not sure.
