is it addisons?

Hi,I need some help, I've been sick since Oct 24,2015, out of the blue I got a fever of 103.9F that lasted 8 hours then disappeared as fast as it began. Since then I've had severe diarrhea everyday, headaches, dizzy, (fainted twice), I've lost 43lbs, no appetite, stomach pain, been treated with iv fluids for dehydration 3x, dark shoots on my hands and and that appear to be "age spots" and can't seem to get enough salt. I've been through every blood test and scan you can imagine with everything coming back "normal" with the exception of white blood cells being very slightly elevated. Could this be addisons? I'm from a very small rural area, what test would I ask my doctor for?

I have hypoaldosteronism, so my tests are not as complete as yours. You need to consult with an endocrinologist who will order at least:

Serum and/or 24 hour urine for aldosterone

    Water deprivation test

    Cortrosine stimulus test

    Other hormones.

Good luck. You may be treatable with medication.

Thank you so much, I see my doc tomorrow and will ask her to run these tests. I'm just so sick of being sick.

You should really see an endocrinologist. Plasma renin activity test is another one. You need a specialist to get them all with one blood draw. Also get them done in the morning when hormone levels are highest

Look at the lines in your hands, are they pigmented.

    Brown. If so its Addison's.
