Please all who feel so inclined post your daily asthma woes. I am always reading post or pre attack symptoms but it's not like you don't have asthma the rest of the time. I would like to hear other people's daily struggles

Hi.Had asthma all my life and think of it as a goddam nuisance. Now in my old age, I take Symbicort 160 twice a day and it works ! I do try, as I feel ok, not taking it but after a couple of days my chest closes. So I have the Symbicort bought and stored, I will never run out and will not end up in the hospital again.  Sorry, no woes here !

I have suffered periods of Asthma from a very young age,  I am now in my late thirties and fortunately going through a good period.  My medication was changed two years ago to a Relvar Ellipta (Fluticasone Fuorate / Vilanterol), my symptons are now pretty much all gone, as long as I take the medication each day.

I was previously on the standard Brown and Blue inhalers, which wasn't managing the symptons and reducing my ability to exercise and get around.

It was only with a chnage of specialist that my medication was properly reviewed and updated.  Her opinion was that if you are suffering daily symptons, then your Asthma is not properly managed and your medication is most likely incorrect.

The medication change has also removed all the muscle tremors that were caused by the Ventolin (Salbutamol).

I would recommend that anyone with daily symptons to get their medication reviewed, as most issues can be resolved.
