Hi everyone.

I am 34 years old and I have had severe depression and Anxiety for as long as I can remember and I was also diagnosed with IBS in Jan this year. My GP has advised that he thinks due to the IBS, Anxiety and Depression that I could have a "DDA Disability" I don't understand what this means and I cannot find anything about it on the Internet.

If anyone can give me some advice or knows what this means, I would be extremely grateful for your reply.

Many thanks,

?Hayley.

I am not sure what the dda means but if it helps go onto the Citizens Advice Bureau website, type it in google it will come up and they have lots of links, either that or phone your nearest branch they have specialists who can help with these types of claims.

    Hope this helps

Hi it means Disability Discrimination Act.   Some illnesses are listed on there as being considered as disability,  others are possibly depending on the severity.

The last DDA act is online and you can google it.  x
