I'm just so fed up I feel like its getting worse what can I do.

Get signed off sick until after your hospital appointment, when you will know more and hopefully will get some treatment. good luck

Sorry to hear that you have to wait nine weeks!!!

I am not sure what country you come from or how your medical systems work there?

Suggestion, take yourself to the hospital emergency dept (ER or whatever you call it) present yourself with your systems.

You will suddenly become the problem of the hospital system. Push to be admitted on the basis that you can not handle the pain.

Hope this might help your situations.

    Hello Claire,

    9 WEEKS ! ! For a hospital visit !

That's not good enough Claire, and neither is your doctor's blase response to medication.

If you can possibly do so, find another general practitioner for a second opinion and someone who is more proactive about finding a specialist for you to see.

You are obviously distressed the way you are now, something has to change as soon as possible.

I have mentioned this in another thread, find doctors and specialists you can trust and make them your primary carers. That way you have continuity which makes for more effective treatment.

    Take care.

Hello Claire, how are you feeling now?

Have you found a doctor that you are confident with?

Have you been able to get into hospital yet?

Right now, I don't feel well at all. My chest is tight and sore to breath, I am nauseous, fatigued and have headaches.

The nausea has effectively destroyed my already small appetite. I have not eaten for 2 days and still, I don't feel any hunger. I sleep a lot.

I used to be reasonably good at giving my GP a good description of symptoms I suffer. The sarcoid has made this very difficult because of it's propensity to mimic symptoms of a range of diseases.

Even my asthma is harder to judge what is happening.

Sorry to hear your suffering right now, try going to A&E and tell them how you feel and get them to admit you, If that doesn't work get your doctor to refer you to professor athol wells at the Royal Brompton hospital in London they're the experts hear in the UK,

    Good luck
