Pulmonary Embolism

Hello everyone! I had PE in 2013 and now have to take warfarin long term. And til this day i still have a lot of symptoms as if I have PE all over again on and off. I've been to the doctor on and off and they say I'm fine! And seems like its getting worse! But I'm getting so tired of going to the ER or talking to my doctor and nothing seems or show that there is something wrong, Has anyone of you gone/going through the same thing and how do you cope with it?

Are you known to a specialist with regards to your PE?

I tell my doctor all the time about how I'm feeling but he don't do nothing but do my INR test! That's it! I'm looking for a new doctor to go to!

    hi,

I think whenever you have symptoms of PE, ie real peril, unease, pains, ghost pains, difficulty breathing, low energy, zero energy, bits breaking off, muscluar strain/ heart/ sternum/ chest /diaphram/ lungs, lower leg, rear of thighs, stretching of the nerves to the heart/lung and inside left arm - vagus nerve, inflamation, heart wobbles, palputations etc,

the doctors at ER may look for evidence of anti-coagulation failing, or if your blood is unnecessarily clotting. If/when the tests comeback negative - the doctors conclude there's nothing wrong - sounds logical - but it does nothing to alleviate the patient's concern, nor provide closure.

If doctors include testing for seretonin, cortisol, testosterone and or oestrogen leading up to ER admission - they may record valid hormonal irregularities contributing to the patient's diminished wellbeing and constitution.

The challenge is to identify the roots cause/s of each physical episode/health concern leading you to go to ER. Learn to understand what's going on inside, this can lead to an emotional & mental resoultions; acceptance of long term anticoagulation to assist in the control and breakdown in DVT's/UEDVT's/VTE's /PE's.

This also leads to an interest in long-term SAFE, ZERO/LOW IMPACT physical exercise mindset & good dietary forward thinking and hydration.

I've leart to cope with it by taking time to learn about my body, and building upon my personal holistic belief in 'organ tissue repair', deep vein/nerve rejuvenation and muscular skeletal maintenance.

Do you ever get the feeling every ache and pain is another blood clot? I'm having trouble all of a sudden lifting with my right arm it hurts on the inside elbow area (like where they take blood) it's slightly swollen and it hurts. What the heck??

Hi there, I had multiple bilateral p.e's back in February and I have had breathlessness and rear of left leg swelling and pain several times , and phoned the NHS advice line and they said go in within the hour , and both times had ctpa scans and luckily all clear , but the consultant doctor guy said if the symptoms happen, you get concussed or you have a deep wound come back in immediately .

I guess being alive and a risk of being a pain in the bum is better than ignoring it and maybe not being here
