What type of chest pain could this be? 2 wks now

Hey all,

I've had 5 EKGs, a nuclear stress test, an echocardiogram, and have worn a 24 hour holter monitor within the last year which has all come back normal (thankfully). Plus blood work.

But I am STILL having chest pain! This time it's been for 2 weeks!

When they first started, it would last a day then it progressed to a few days then a week and now I'm up to 2 weeks.

Sometimes they're very sharp and hurt like heck right next to my sternum on the left side. Those ones feel deep and I usually get a hot flash after. Then sometimes it's a muscle/ache feeling up near my armpit/shoulder area. And if I press on the one spot on my chest, I can feel the tenderness in my back but I cannot recreate the sharp pains. Now Im starting to feel some down by the left ribs, at the bottom. All of these pains (especially the sharp ones) come when they want, out of nowhere.

These only started this past year as I've been having other symptoms (mainly autoimmune) where I experience lots of muscle aches and muscle fatigue. Im currently in the process of figuring out why.

So my question is, I guess, do you all think this is heart related or more muscle? And can muscle cause the deep sharp pain? And has anyone else out there experienced this?

It's driving me crazy! Lol thanks in advance!

How old are you? Any shortness of breath? Fatigue? Pain with exertion or after or worse the next day after exerting yourself? Any heart palpitations? Anything make it worse (activity, household chores, breathing?) Anything make it better (rest? Meds?)

      29. Shortness of breath only when I walk a bit because I have full body fatigue which goes along the autoimmune side. Basically I feel like I'm carrying double body weight because of the muscle fatigue. Some ache in back and front when I take a deep breath. Nothing makes it worse. Nothing makes it better. It just happens.

I can perform tasks just fine, as well. So exercise doesn't bring it on.

Have you ever torn a muscle, takes about 6 weeks before it heals up.

But if you tear a cartledge type tissue can take 12 weeks to heal up, really acute pain and nothing helps very much.

Coughing can cause rib cartledge to tear, and because its soft tissue they can't really see it.

Arthiritis, I have auto immunine psorasis arthiritis, develops in most people in their 40's+, usually in people who already have psorasis.

Diagnoses comes from your blood tests immflamation levels very high, and symtoms, my diagnoses took months of pain and swelling, that I was told was post viral syndrome, in your imigination, even when you could see the swelling and stiffness still dismissed. Eventually collapsed and taken to ER, where a young Dr did a blood test he wasn;t supposed to do, and the bloods came back with very high immfalmtion levels.

My SED rate is a little high at 32 on normal 0-20 so that shows inflammation but u haven't been to the rheumatologist yet. I've been going to neurologists and had all the MRIs of brain and spine to make sure it wasn't MS.

My body hurts especially bad today and it's making my chest ache but it's the sharp pains that are unsettling. They come out of nowhere and ruin the moment when they do. From what I've gathered, it's non-cardiac as its lasted this long and it doesn't increase with exertion and they're sharp lasting for a few seconds at a time.

Still scary tho! That's why I had all those tests done. My cholesterol is OK but my triglycerides are high. I'm hypothyroid which can raise them.

Do you get chest pains with your arthritis?
