Severe stomach pain, what is it and what do I do?

Severe pain in the area above my belly button but below my ribs. Worse when I eat or even drink water so haven't been eating proper meals.

18 year old female.

    Gosh,thats very vague for stomach pain and could be so many things.  Simple gas,  possibly appendicitis. Are you vomiting or nauseous? Do you have a high temperature?    Did it come on suddenly or has it been building up over days?  as you are only 18 its unlikely to be an ulcer or gallstones.   If it continues you should seek medical help.

      No temperature or nausea I just woke

      up with it one morning, however it had been getting worse as the days go on. Iv had it about 6 days now.

    If this has been constant for 6 days you really should see a doctor.   It could be the start of an ulcer.    Have you tried any of the antacids that can be bought over the counter?   Do you have diarrhoea or constipation?
