Inner ear problems?

Hello; my name is Fred and I am 27 years old. I have been having debilitating symptoms that i think i might be due to my ears for 2 years now.

The day after my 25th birthday I woke up to a hangover worse than usual. My ears felt full like there was something in them and i felt dizzy - not in the sense that the room was spinning I just felt off balance. I also threw up a few times but put this down to the hang over.

This feeling has never went away and has got progressively worse to the point i have now had to take time off work and in the last month I have spent 90% of the time lying down. My vision has also went blurry over these years.

I have been to the doctor who said it was labyrinthis and it would go away in 2 weeks (i wish). I have been back and forth about 20 times , put on antibiotics five times and have only recently got referred to an ent who has put me forward for an mri which will happen in a few months.

Does this sound like your typical inner ear infection? Im worried its something more sinister.

Main symptoms are: feeling pressure deep inside ear. Feels hot sometimes and when i can tilt my head it can itch like theres liquid behind the eardrum.

Dizzyness constantly or feeling off balance

Blurry vision to the point i need two prescriptions

Swollen stomach occasionally , nausea

Feel like i want to die/ lie down all the time.

Help please.

Hi Fred it can be fluid behind your eardrum has the ent checked for that they can usally see if your dizzy then that's vertigo there's medication for that has far as the clogging and pressure goes that can be From the eusthian tubes not working right and causing pressure I have learned over the years the ears are very complicated and anything can affect them as hence myself I have many ear issues

No the ent thought it might be sinus related at first so put a camera up both nostrils. I guess I'll just need to wait and see what the mri shows. It does feel like there's a lot of pressure there so you could be right about the tubes. It's just not normal for someone of my age to feel this way.

      Thanks for your reply

Hellow Fred, the same problem had my son. This is ear fungal disease. The antibiotics can't help you, you will feel  worth.  He use: FLUZAMED- 3 drops 3 times a day and TRIDERM ointment, during 10-14 days. after 2 weeks you should do the same for 7 days.

P.S. FLUZAME-is glass drops, but doctor told it is very good to use during such problems. We trust him and have a good rezult.

Normally, blood that enters the inner ear has the same density as the endolymphatic fluid that is normally contained within the inner ear compartments. The main sensory organ of the inner ear called the cupula is responsible for spatial orientation by informing the brain when a head rotation/movement has occurred.
