I had very heavy bleeding and they perform a pelvic angiogram with embolization. Will this procedure hurt anything else?

I think I've read that 1% of women can begin menopause following a UFE.

Hi Jazzy I had a UFE on 18 Jan 2016 and I have not started the Menopause and I had my 50th on 30 September.
With regards to pain there is some after but it wasn't bad. They give you painkillers.
The worst thing for me was the Morphine sickness. I did feel really tired for quite a few weeks after as well.
So not bad. So good luck hope it goes well.

Thanks Patricia,
Happy belated birthday. I honestly did not have a choice when i walked in to the emergency, the bleeding was savere. Ufe was the only option besided hysteractomy. I had 4 blood transfusions, I must it was very scary. I was told some people can hit menopause right away. I just turned 43 in October but would hate to have menopause at this age. I'm anxious about this whole thing.
