Stabbing pain between shoulder blades

or more accurately it's towards the middle of my back, but am assuming this is connected to my costo.

This was brought on, by of all things, changing the duvet cover and stupidly shaking it vigorously without thinking. Got a dull twinge in my back but carried on. Next thing excruciating pain in the same area...of the grab the wall to stay upright variety...and am now in agony half an hour later. Like I say I'm assuming it's all part of costo though will be calling the GP first thing in the morning.

I've had these before a couple of times over the years but just put it down to my "bad back" but now wondering if I've been living with costo for a lot longer than originally thought.

Btw if the iPad tries to replace costo with Costco one more time there'll be more damage done as I throw it through the window wink

I know how you feel I am now seeing an osteopath who specialises is costocondritus and he says the body compensates for the pain then sets off another reaction in other parts of the body. I carried a small case out of my car yesterday then pushed a door that was a bit stiff so then it moveable from my ribs to my chest feels like a heart attack no point in going to GP she just treats the symptoms not the cause .

Yep that was the outcome of the call this morning. Back to square one with the familiar "costo only lasts a few weeks" comment that just shows how little GP's actually know bout this condition. Time to insist on a referral to an osteopath I think.

Yes it's a tough thing to work through but I think stress and short breathing from the chest makes it all worse I Am so sick of being in pain and most people have no idea how just holding your body upright is so exhausting
