Lorazepam withdrawal

Can I ask others here what withdrawal symptoms they have experienced while trying to wean off Lorazepam. I feel a tightness in my chest and a bit light headed, it also feels sometimes as though I have swallowed a tablet that has stuck in my throat (very unpleasant) this is when I have to take a Lorazepam it seems to stop this strange feeling. Anyone else experienced anything like this? I would be very grateful for others' experiences.

When i stopped the Zopiclone, i had this taste like I sucked on a rusty nail all day. This could be what you are experiencing . Stick with it as these side effects will pass. Tell yourself, that each new day, is better than the last in regards to less withdrawals symptoms . I hope this helps

Pat , you are never alone. Remember this. There are thousands of people out there that have far more worse side effect than what you are experiencing. We all have our trials and tribulations but it's how we overcome our short comings that make us stronger as individuals.

Take care and keep up your quest. In the end, it's worth it!

Thanks Karl, I plan to face this head on. I know others have it worse but it's always subjective. It's very helpful for all of us to have somewhere to speak out and ask for help smile
