Hi all, I would really apreciate it if you tell me if the symptoms that I have remind you endometriosis.. I am 25 years old and the last ten months I am having blood in between my periods during ovulation and I am experiencing more pain than usual but only one day before or on the first day of my period. Since two months I started experiencing monotonous but really uncomfortable abdominal pains only on the down left side and on lower left part of my back and constipation. These abdominal pains are not there during my period, but maybe before or after or during the month and even when I am not in pain I feel the bowel really numb. I visited both gynecologist and a general doctor but since my blood and urin tests are fine they could not do a clear diagnosis. They found a cyst in my right ovary which was gone after 6 weeks, so it was I guess a blood cyst.
Please help me, what do you think?

Was the abdominal pain general or localized? And also when you press the location of the pain does it feel relieving?

Blood and urine tests won't disclose endo and they won't disclose some of the bowel diseases with similar symptoms or similar abdominal pains. Your doctors need to work a little harder. You didn't mention how old you are. If you're very young the docs may be happy to take a "wait & see" position ,,, and some of them will gladly take that position while a woman writes in agony for decades with endo. Only you can make them earn their pay.

Thank you very much for your help! The thing is I do not have pain during urination or pain after sex, which are also symptoms of endometriosis, and the pain is really only on the lower left side next to my bellybutton (so not so low as in period) and not during my period. The part there is constantly numb (since September) and it hurts some days a lot! Pressure on the spot or bowel movements make me feel a difference, something like better. Was this also in your case?

Dont worry if your looking through comments and research and thinking i dont have that or that doesnt sound like me. The pain and symptoms are so varied in different people its difficult to tell which is why its hard to disagnose. The important thing to remember is your in pain and it needs sorting.

I never had pain during urination unless I had a UTI, and no discomfort during sex except during the first year or so after my hysterectomy ,,, until the time that I had a bowel movement right after sex and passed part of a pasteurized wrapper that had to have been dropped into me during surgery!
Endo is like many diseases in that there are a lot of symptoms and very few people get all of them. My pain also was only on the left side, maybe a bit lower than yours. But I also had horrific diarrhea & would have cramps with that too.
We are not doctors, so you're still going to want to find some good medical care.
