Nope, I have not tried Anotro or Anoro inhaler but for the benefit of other readers I think, from a quick Google search that you are talking about the brand name "Anoro" (umeclidinium bromide), a Glaxo SmithKline bronchospasm (wheezing) inhaler most often presecribed for COPD suffererers - probably UK issue.

Since I have Bronchiectasis instead of COPD does it seem my doctor prescribed Anoro in error.. ? Through my many years with Bx and changing doctors due to relocation not all Pulmonologist are well informed on Bx medications.  Thanks for your reply.

I think Bx is classified as COPD.  Correct me if I am wrong.

I looked it up since I haven't used it or heard about it. It stated that Anoro is not for asthma (along with Bx) so I would not be able to use it.  Thanks for bringing up new medications for COPD.  It is always worth asking about them since there is much research on pharmaceuticals to help us (and it is a good business, too).  I cringe every time I buy Advair....Kaiser price is almost $400 in the U.S., but Medicare people get it for $95. I am sure that will be changing shortly though since Medical costs and drugs are skyrocketing. Hope the new med works well for you. Blessings to you.
