Reoccurring Ovarian Cysts: What did you do?

I've been having issues for many years but they have really increased this last year and a half. I've landed in the ER with a ruptured cyst while I was on birth control. The most painful experience of my life, my body seized up, I passed out numerous times, and it costed money I don't have. Now I'm having issues every month. I have no clue what to do. I had to leave work early as I do any time it comes up. I don't know what to do anymore. I can't take this pain. I am too young for a hysterectomy, too young to have kids yet. What did you guys do? Has anyone ever been prescribed pain pills or found anything at all helpful?

You wouldn't need a hysterectomy as your ovaries are not in your womb. You need to speak to your gynaecologist frankly and explain how you feel and see what the best course of action will be. Good luck

I meant hysterectomy since it takes your hormones away and hormones are what contribute to cyst growth. And I will thank you

Hey, you need to go to the doctor and get referred back to the specialist. I have had my right Ovary removed already. No children not for lack of trying. I have just been prescribed memafamic for the swelling and pain. It does help but not the end solution I am looking for. Just been told my fallopian tube is blocked and I will never have children. A cyst as long as it is dealt with should cause you no problem. Xx
