I got lthr anterior approach 2 weeks ago o o had a walker when I came home until the physical therapist was there yesterday and said you don't need a walker. I went to my dr today he says I don't even need a cane I have no limitations just to do my exercises at home and my hip feels great. It's just amazing! I only had two physical therapy sessions and I need no more! Feeling so grateful??

That's wonderful! Well done you. I was using a cane outside for about a week but found after that that it was slowing me down! I'm 5 weeks post op this Friday and the only real after effect is tiredness.
Hope your recovery continues well.

That sounds absolutely great for you. I'm jealous. Like you, my hip has been an enormous success but I still need crutches outside and a cane inside due to a rubbish ankle. I hope it keeps going so well for you.

Yes praise the Lord. I am so grateful! There really are no restrictions except not to move the operated leg all the way back. I can really do anything now and I think once my incision is healed it will be even better. I hope you are doing well!😊😊
