EGD showed retained fluid in stomach

I am a 39 yo female and I got an EGD done Friday and doctor said I have retained fluid in stomach. Photos say A moderate amount actually and I'm scared it could be something serious. Of course I was half out of it when he's explaining the findings but my friend said he said everything looked good except some inflammation from the acid. The report said diffuse erythema. He took tissue samples for biopsies but I'm worried about that fluid in there because I've had upper abdominal pain and bloating and I bet that's why. And the printout he gave said moderate amount of fluid retained in stomach. Does anyone have experience with this ?

    do not let your imagination run away....it could be too much salt intake....if it were something deadly, you would have been hospitalized.

    I was told I had two polyps in my stomach after an endoscopy, nothing done about them though. Can only presume this is  alright!
