Conserned about my lamotragiine dosage

I am wondering if the problem I have been experiencing is from to little of a dosage. I will be seeing my family doctor in just under a month but would like to know if anyone else has experienced this

Last week I experienced tingling in my hands it starts in my left less funtional hand then the right hand starts to in time they become clammy but now there even sweaty. It rarely stops and when it does it doesn't stay away. A couple of times I have experienced slight short tingling in other parts of my body. I have had this already for a week. 4years ago I experienced tingling all throughout my body it also started in my left hand but that time I had mainly tingling, vary little clammyness and no sweating. Last time they just increased my dosage and died it was caused by migraines I was having. Since the increased dosage I haven't had a migraine. I have only experience slight tingling that whent away as soon as I switched to a activity that involves both my hands between these 2 times. It isvary uncomfortable and drives me crazy. I'm 21.

Have you ever experienced this. Please help me.

Hey yes i have experienced these symptoms while i was on epilim it all started with tingling in my hands mainly my left side which eventually spread through my whole body but again was mainly my left side. i had numbness aswell and i eventually got so weak i could barely move or walk. i ended up in hospital for about a week and had scans which all came back clear thankfully. i went to my neurologist about 1 week after i left the hospital and unfortunately i only got to spend 10 or so minutes with her as i was running late but previously throughout this whole thing my specialist had mentioned that epilim may be the culperate and so i ended up changing from epilim to lamictal (lamotragine) and i have been better ever since. so turns out that had caused that to happen if you look at the side effects of the tablets they list all of those symptoms. i hadnt thought to look at them as i had been taking them for the last 10 years but i guess my body just doesnt like them anymore.

I have been on limotrigien since I was 6 and the first and only other time I've ever experienced tingling and sweaty hands is when I was 16 but that time I had tingling everywhere. I don't experience numness or anything else but this time it's mostly just my hands and way more sweaty then tingling.

So I had a doctor's appointment. So far we think it is not realated to my lamotragine. We think it's migraine related because of all the symptoms I have been having line up with migraines and migraines run in the family. I got some blood work done and am waiting for results to just make sure it's not caused by anything else.

As long as your neurologist knows. He can help with the headaches as well.

My doctor has decided that if the tingling gets to bad then I will take Advil and see if that helps then let my doctor know. I got my blood test results and they came normal. Migraines run on one side of the family which is a nother reason why we think it's migraine related. Were not making an appointment with my movement disorder specialist because he would likely want to increase my limotragine.my doctor doesn't want to increase it unless we have to.
