Looks like a normal variation of the ridges on your hard palate to me. It's probably always been there but you never noticed it before! Seeing the dentist is the right thing to do in any case.

    Hello

I have just read your discussion about the lump on the roof of your mouth. About 2 years ago I noticed a similar sort of thing, it was only my dentist that took any notice. I was then sent to see a ENT surgeon who examined it and took me into hospital to have a biopsy done. First diagnosis was it was cancer but six weeks later the biopsy was sent to a specialist in Sheffield who confirmed it was a benign tumour so at last it was good news.

although it was benign I still had to have it removed because it would have grown bigger.

Two weeks later it was removed and all went ok.

At the moment because of the position of the lump I am still suffering with facial pain, so now I am under pain management clinic who are hoping to improve the pain.

I do hope you get better results when you get diagnosed, I will keep everything crossed for you xxx
