Hi all my names veronica im a 24yr old female from ireland... iv had some serious problems lately and need help or someone who can say im not the only one suffering right now.

It all developed when I was 15/16years old

One day I developed and irritation in my bladder region the very pit bottom of my stomach deep in the pubic bone or just above it. I never went to the doctor I drank continuous amounts of water for about 4 weeks until it was gone it could have been an infection but I don't know anyway since then I have been developing irritation in the pit bottom of my stomach deep in the pubic bone and I get flare ups of it sometimes it's monthly sometimes it can last for days I always found water got rid of it within a few hours but this time it has not gone away I went to the doctor 2 months ago who said I had nitrates blood leukocytes in my urine I always have blood in my urine despite infection my urine sample always shows traces of blood in my urine but the infection started 2 months ago I was put on 250 milligrams off kelflex and 625 milligrams Co amiclav and it got rid of all the symptoms for two weeks tell it came back it left me with some strange irritation on the outside of my urethra it feels like pinching stinging irritation after I pass urine I also feel this when I'm walking I also feel like the pit bottom of my bladder has an ulcer or something in it the symptoms are not going away despite continuous water and cranberry juice I went to the GP the other day there was nothing in my urine only blood in the sample I mean but I still have the symptoms that developed for no reason sometimes when I pass urine the pain radiates up to my urethra like a painful orgasm when I am finished peeing stinging uncomfortable irritated feeling outside my urethra.. as well as the feeling off rawness in my Pitt bottom stomach the doctor said I have a lesion on the outside of urethra an abnormal swelling is this causing everything? Iv tried canasten cream . betnovate. daktarcort. Dakarin. Urispas. Nothing is relieving this.. stingy continues on outside off the urethra and pressure in the bladder like it going to rip or bust. Drinking water use to releave it not it makes it worse and peeing on top off urethra not helping.

Please please someone help me I can't cope anymore or take any more

Sorry you are experiencing these symptoms. Have you had a cystoscopy done by a urologist or urogynecologist to look at the inside of the bladder wall? Have you heard of Intersitial Cystitis? It's a chronic condition of the bladder that mimics symptoms of UTI but with no infection. There is no cure but many treatments and ways to manage. For now, I would stop the cranberry juice. That's a major bladder irritant and won't do anything for you except worsen your symptoms. I would recommend seeing your doctor and asking for more testing. Good luck!

I'm refered to urologist but I'm on the urgent list but it's taking for ever. . Iv been to GP over and over but not much that can be done iv heard about that cystitis my bladder is more raw than sore nd iv some lesion on the outside off my urethra. It went away for 2 weeks then came back. I'm not on 7 day course off A.Bs as a cover but will these symptoms ease off ?? Will they go away because I can't cope with them anymore

I know it's hard and not knowing what you're dealing with makes it more nerve wracking. I woke up one day and had bladder symptoms of frequency and urgency, like I had a UTI but it turned out I didn't. It took me over 6 months and lots of dr visits and testing to rule out everything and figure out what was going on. We want answers now but usually it's by process of elimination that the dr can figure out what's going on. I don't know anything about lesions but for the irritation and burning/stinging, I would put yourself on a very bland, bladder friendly diet until you get more answers. What you eat and drink has a huge impact on your bladder but most people don't realize that until they come down with IC or OAB. I'm in the US so we don't have the long waits that you do to get in to see a specialist. Hang in there and try to do as much as you can to alleviate your symptoms with lifestyle changes.

Thank you so much for your kind words I just need someone who is suffering to as horrible as I may sound I feel like I'm alone and only one sat on a chair for comfort. I suffer from inner ear problems to and that'S making my head worse making it all hard to cope with .

I have found smoking set it off at times. I stopped that. I'm engaged and I had to stop my sex life. I had to stop coffee etc.. I do admit I'm over weight.. and I am not eating much with this. Iv lost my appetite but when I get a period off relief I find me self eating a big dinner delighted till I pee then it all start again. .

In your opinion what would a bladder diet consist off please ?? I don't know what to eat.. I'm good with water tho I drink lots off water I love it but I find its making me pee to much causing irritation to the urethra and if I don't drink it the irritation in my bladder is worse. If I had an option I would go in my grave painlessly and quick rather than living with this because it's horrible I wouldn't wish it on anybody!

Also will I be OK till I see urologist? It won't get any worse on me?? Because it feel like I'm going to get worse and not be able to pee at all sad sad I'm only 24 I can't believe I could have that horrible cystitis
