blood in urine

I viited the doctor with ache at right hand side of lower abdomen and backace

I had to send sample of urine for lab test. Came back with micro blood in urine but no infection.  Can anyone help regarding what may be causing these symptons.  I am due to see consultant regarding my lab text.  Thank you.

    Blood in the urine could be a very wide variety of things. You will probably have some tests to rule out some of the causes. This may include a CT scan, especially with the back pain, to rule out a kidney stone or anything troubling.
